About
Rivals Welding & Fabrication — a qualified tradesman's workshop
Professional fabrication from a dedicated workshop in Greenbank, QLD. Small enough to deal with the tradesman directly; qualified enough to do the job properly.
Who's doing the work
Jason started his boilermaking apprenticeship at Beenleigh Steel Fabrications in 2008 and qualified in 2013, working on structural steel — including stadium steelwork — supervising first-year apprentices and running the pre-fabrication plate shop. From there he built tilt-tray and tipper truck bodies and did hydraulic fit-outs at Harveys Mechanical & Welding (also lead on-site structural steel installer), fabricated handrails, balustrades and train and bus station steelwork Australia-wide with Stoddarts, and spent two years on the Ichthys LNG project in Darwin on pipework, pump alignment and flange management. He welds MIG, TIG, stick and flux-core across mild steel, stainless and aluminium, and works from engineering drawings or a sketch on the back of a quote.
